Psychometric testing (IQ, EQ, personality, aptitude test) are essential to measure an individual’s behaviour style and mental health with measurable objective data. The tests are standard, scientific and reliable to measure an individual’s mental capabilities. It is used to diagnose the extent to which candidate’s personal and cognitive abilities match with those required to cope in a given situation.

Projective tests like TAT, Rorschach, sentence completion are intended to uncover feelings, desires and conflicts that are hidden from conscious awareness. By interpreting this response to ambiguous cues, the unconscious mind gets revealed to the psychologist thereby leading to an insight into the psychodynamic state of mind of the client.
